Regis Pemba base grows at pace »

30th March 2021

Regis has added a container consolidation yard at its Pemba Facility in northern Mozambique which will fully operational in the next few months, says Regis Mozambique Limitada’s Business Development Manager, Wessel Stander.

“Pemba is currently a major hub in terms of oil and gas developments in this part of the country. Regis has built the facility as a service to clients which permits them to release trucks and trailers for other works rather than being forced to tie up such valuable assets in cargo congestion. Regis is then able to offer ‘final mile’ delivery as dictated by third party timelines.”

Regis’s Pemba base will soon include mobile fleet workshops, warehousing and office facilities to support its own extensive operations and services provisions to its clients in the region. Regis is currently very active in Cabo Delgado with 100 dedicated employees providing integrated logistics solutions, tailored industrial land options, shipping, the provision of a mobile fleet and general operations and maintenance contracting activities.
