Regis Trading International’s link to the partnership with Zamil Steel Industries has strengthened our product technology, particularly in the architectural and building systems fields.
Zamil Steel was established in 1977, in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, as a single division company specialized in the design, manufacture and supply of pre-engineered steel buildings. Since then Zamil Steel has come a long way, and is currently organized into three divisions:
1. Pre Engineered Buildings Division
The PEB division was established in 1977, specializing in the design, manufacture and supply of pre-engineered steel buildings in joint venture with Soulé Steel of the United States of America. In 1983, Zamil Steel became a 100 percent Saudi company after Zamil Group Holding Co. bought all the shares of Soulé Steel USA.
2. Structural Steel Division
In 1984, the Structural Steel division of Zamil Steel was established with a vision towards the future industrial prosperity in the region. This division produces structures ranging from medium commercial to heavy industrial applications such as electrical power plants, large petrochemical plants, desalination plants, steel mills, etc.
3. The Towers & Galvanizing (T&G) Division
Started operation in 1985 when Zamil Steel entered into a technical collaboration with S.A.E Towers of Italy, part of ABB, for the transfer of technology in a field in which they are the world renowned pioneers of galvanized steel tower design and manufacturing.
With over 51 offices and an annual production capacity exceeding 6 million square meters of buildings, Zamil Steel is considered the largest pre-engineered building manufacturer in Asia and Africa.

Since 1977, Zamil Steel has supplied more than 35,000 buildings to over 75 countries, worldwide - from Panama and Mexico in the West to the Philippines, China and South Korea in the East.
Zamil’s customers list include companies such as, ABB, Procter & Gamble, General Electric Co., Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola, Nestle, Parson, Toyota, BMW, Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Sanyo, Toshiba, Honda, Unilever, Fuji Film, Isuzu, LG, Daimler Chrysler, Bechtel Corp., Saudi Aramco to mention but a few.
